I was born in the Bay Area. My wife and I moved our family to Belmont for the same reason so many of our neighbors did: the historic excellence of this district's public schools. We wanted a community anchored by top-tier education.

Now, with three kids right in the thick of the system - spanning the entire journey from a youngest in 1st grade to an oldest heading toward high school - I'm personally invested in where SUHSD is going for the next decade.

Why I'm Running

01

Restore Academic Excellence and Real Choice

Restore meaningful honors and Advanced Standing pathways, and make sure families have a real say before top-down academic changes happen - not after.

02

Fiscal Discipline and Transparency

Apply real budget accountability to how the district spends your tax dollars, so every dollar traces back to a benefit for teachers and students, not district administration.

03

Prepare Students for an AI-Driven Economy

Bring real product and technology literacy to board decisions on AI in the classroom, student data privacy, and modern curriculum design.

04

A Board That Actually Listens

Restore the partnership between our schools, our families, and our teachers, and hold the district accountable for clear, measurable student outcomes - not top-down mandates.

I'm running because I care about our community, our children, and our teachers. Public education shouldn't be about managing deficits or lowering expectations - it should be about helping our kids fulfill their potential and meeting the needs of our neighbors. I'm bringing professional, executive oversight to this board: to listen to our parents and teachers, restore academic choice, keep up with the changes in our world and economy, and make sure our schools stay the best in the country - so we continue to have an amazing community.
